Gottfried Helnwein image cont.

The change in viewpoint changes my interpretation of the image because it shows the full photograph on a wall. This image is a young, pale girl with greenish blue eyes and brown hair. The photograph is a close up of this girls face, on a giant wall. The size of this image is extremely large. You can see a person standing next to it and see how large the photo actually is. If you look closely you can see that this piece is broken up into three pieces. Importing and putting this image up probably took a team and machines. This piece was so large that it had to be broken up into three strips. Mounting this large image must have taken some machines to put up. The location of this image is on the back of an older building right by the water. People passing by in the water or on the street in font of the building have a great close up view. The intended audience are the people living near or in that area. The mood of this image is content. The girl doesn't have a smile nor a sad face. It is an innocent, little girl face. The title "The Last Girl" makes you think of the situation of the image, its no longer a random little girl, she now has meaning and it up to the audience to decide the meaning for themselves.
